Community Calendar

The Community Calendar serves as a simple events management tool that lives within Core Publisher. Stations can add and manage their own events, as well as encourage their on-air and online audiences to submit local events at their website. Stations can decide which events get published, manage their own venues, categories, organizations. Our Community Calendar feature empowers stations to control their community events calendar online.

Last November, we promised to release a new set of features for creating, listing, and promoting community events within Core Publisher starting this winter. Our team has been working hard, and we’re pleased to announce that the beta version is now live.

Starting this winter, we’ll be releasing a new set of features for creating, listing, and promoting community events within Core Publisher.

Please be advised of two important product announcements:

1.    Upgrade to Public Events Calendar product:

Update: Core Publisher work continues into the fall. We are working towards a pilot release with a few select stations in mid-December to understand how to best help stations make the change. Our goal is to make this new Core Publisher event features available to all by February pending any major issues with the early users.
