Senior Support Manager

Sara joined NPR Digital Services in August of 2011. She currently oversees the team supporting Membership, Marketing, and Anlaytics tools such as NPR DS Maketing Forms, Salesforce Marketing Cloud the  Station Analytics System. 

Sara is passionate about helping stations navigate the ever-changing digital landscape so they can focus on creating the content that will keep them vital to their communities now and for decades to come. 

Originally from New Hampshire, Sara holds a B.A. in English from Trinity College in Hartford, CT and lives is the greater Boston metro area with her family.

Ways to Connect

The NPR DS Marketing Forms have been updated to allow stations using the Sage or payment gateways to accept credit cards using an "Authorize-Only" service.  This means that the credit card numbers will be securely stored by the payment gateway but not charged until you instruct the gateway to process the payments via your membership database.

There are two parts to turning on E-Commerce Tracking:

#1 - Add Code to Your Pledge Form:

Special Google Analytics code needs to be added to your pledge confirmation page. The specifics of what code needs to be added depends on your pledge form and how it is coded, but in most cases it will capture information on what the transaction is, and how much money it represents, and send that information to your Google Analytics account.
